The Château La Marzelle Grand Cru in 2012 reveals a fruity nose with aromas of blackberries, plums, undergrowth and mushrooms. The palate is harmonious with flavors of blackberries, strawberries, black cherries and plum with hints of spice. The finish is rich and elegant on a slight vegetal note.

Acquired in 1997 by the Flemish family Sioen, the castle La Marzelle extends over 17 hectares on a very particular and very limited soil, the High Terrace of Saint-Emilion, former bed of the Isle. Now led in biodynamics, the vintage should still gain in elegance.
