The Château Fombrauge Grand Cru in 2015 has a brilliant ruby color. On the nose aromas of blackberries, figs and blackcurrant. The palate is harmonious with flavors of blackberries, red fruits, notes of creamy toasted oak. The finish is long, elegant and fresh.

The castle belongs to the family Dumas de Fombrauge in the eighteenth century, which made it a real school of application for viticulture. Since 1999, Mr. Bernard Magrez is the owner. The 58 hectares of vineyards are spread over the municipalities of Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes, Saint-Etienne-de-Lisse and Saint-Hippolyte, in the extension of the plateau and hillsides of Saint-Emilion. In these soils, the soils are varied and confer a great complexity to the wines.
