The Vougeot 1er Cru "Les Petits Vougeots" from Domaine Clerget in 2015 reveals a nose with aromas of red fruits, violets, spices and peppermint. The palate is full-bodied with dark fruit and melted tannins. The finish is long and fresh.

Located on the Chambolle Musigny, Morey Saint Denis and Vosne Romanée appellations, the Christian Clerget estate covers 6 hectares and produces only Pinot Noir. Harvesting is done by hand, to carefully select the grains that will enter the winemaking process. The grapes will then macerate for two to three weeks, to extract a maximum of juice and flavors. The beverage will then bloom in oak barrels for 18 months. During this period, Christian will make a racking. The wine is then bottled on the estate, without having undergone any filtration. The wine is thus better balanced and strong in character. It delivers authentic and frank aromas, which honor the terroir on which the vines grow.
