What to Do If You Receive a Corked Bottle

At ChristiWines, we are committed to delivering wines of the highest quality. However, despite all our efforts, it may happen that a bottle shows a fault, such as a "cork taint" (TCA). If this occurs, please follow the steps below:

1. Keep the bottle and its contents

Do not discard the bottle, even if it has been opened. Please keep the original cork in place and ensure at least 80% of the wine remains. This is essential for us to conduct an analysis or return the bottle to the producer if necessary.

2. Contact us promptly

Send an email to contact@christiwines.com within 7 days of receiving your order, including the following information:

  • Your order number

  • The name of the wine concerned

  • A description of the defect

  • Photos of the bottle and the cork

We may also ask you to return the bottle for inspection.

3. Analysis and proposed solution

Once we have received and analysed the bottle, and the defect is confirmed, we will offer you the following options:

  • A replacement of the product

  • A credit voucher valid on our website

If these solutions are not suitable, the customer may request a refund in accordance with the legal warranty of conformity.

Return shipping costs will be covered by us if the fault is confirmed.

⚠️ Please note that this process may take some time, especially if the bottle needs to be assessed by the producer or sent to a lab. Rest assured, we will do our best to respond as quickly as possible.
